Director of Community Outreach
Stonecom Radio is growing, and we are looking for a community relations team member! Experience working with community and non-profit organizations a plus!
Our Director Of Community Outreach specializes in maintaining our community support programs through administrative and outreach work, like scheduling our community partners to record public service announcements, coordinating awareness interviews with our news department, aligning causes and events with our promotions department out reach, while also working hands-on with the community doing outreach to support local causes and non-profit organizations, offering our services and facilities for their use.
The Director of Community Outreach will oversee the use of the Gallaher Huffines Community Room for our community partners.
These focuses present an exciting, challenging, multi-faceted work week. This position is part time, but could offer full time potential for the right candidate.
You will be the face of our stations as you connect one-on-one with our listeners and community partners to discuss the events of their churches, schools, and festivals.
Throughout the week in our offices, you will become an integral part of learning the voice of our stations and sharing that through your phone and email interactions to arrange events and announcements along with building relationships and connections for our news, marketing, and public relations facets
You will be charged with aligning community partners with our brands in the most effective ways to expose these organizations and their needs to the right audience to support their causes.
This position is energetic, constantly adapting, and makes a direct impact on our community daily. Come help community organizations across the Upper Cumberland flourish with us.
Job Requirements:
A prospective Stonecom Director Of Community Outreach must:
Be proficient in Google Sheets, Docs, Drive, Excel, Word, Access, etc.
Be organized and proficient in data entry and file management.
Be responsible, dependable, and timely.
Have office hours availability (We can be flexible with this as long as you have availability during the hours Monday-Friday 9a-5p)
Be approachable, communicative, and adaptable in changing environments
